The second China International Import Expo (CIIE）was held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2019. In the expo, Microsoft entered the "science and technology life" exhibition and displayed a series of advanced technologies, products and solutions represented by Microsoft artificial intelligence through three themes: AI+ Organizational Transformation, AI+ Innovation and AI+ Beautiful Society. Through a series of abundant practical application and landing scenarios, it comprehensively shows that Microsoft, together with Chinese enterprises, developers and partners grasp the opportunities of digital transformation, release innovative intelligence, and build a better future, so as to fulfill Microsoft's mission of "empowering everyone and every organization in the world to achieve extraordinary achievements".
AI+ Organizational Transformation
With the world's cutting-edge intelligent cloud services and artificial intelligence technology, Microsoft is actively helping enterprises and organizations around the world to win innovative opportunities in the digital transformation. In the AI + organizational transformation, Microsoft focuses on the application scenarios of artificial intelligence to help enterprises and organizations improve productivity and optimize business processes, as well as innovative solutions for vertical industries such as logistics and retail.
At an earlier 2019 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Microsoft announced the "Microsoft AI Business School" project in Greater China, which combines global offline interactive teaching and online course, and reached strategic partnership with three well-known business schools, namely School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, China Europe International Business School and Yangtze River Business School. Microsoft Asia Research Institute cooperated with OOCL, an international container transportation and logistics company, to create a set of artificial intelligence logistics scheduling solution. In the traditional scenario, due to the imbalance of import and export trade in different regions, the demand for empty containers varies greatly among ports. How to effectively dispatch empty containers between different ports is a very important part in the operation of shipping industry. Microsoft Asia Research Institute has made a cooperative reinforcement learning framework for OOCL, which is used to optimize the scheduling of shipping. This intelligent logistics solution shortens the time to optimize a route from 1-3 hours to milliseconds and is expected to save OOCL $10 million in operating costs per year.
Microsoft 365 integrates Office 365 Enterprise, Windows 10 Enterprise and Enterprise Mobility + Security into an intelligent Office scene, enabling enterprises to realize Modern Workplace. This includes not only the application of employees in daily office, such as business data analysis, language communication, professional document production and information collection of AI, but also the solution to realize intelligent communication. Through Microsoft teams, employees can realize the function of "real-time subtitle". In video conference, users can blur or change their background. Through Microsoft Teams, users can convert whiteboard content into electronic virtual whiteboard to realize the technology of avoiding human body. In the region, Microsoft will also show how Dynamics 365 Guides enables employees to learn though practice. As a new hybrid reality app, dynamics 365 guides can strengthen the learning process by guiding employees to learn about tools and components they need to know and use in work scenarios. By creating interactive content, adding photos and videos, importing 3D models and customizing training, users can turn institutional knowledge into a repeatable learning tool. The application helps reduce downtime and improve the efficiency of mission-critical equipment and processes.

Through the analysis and utilization of the collected multidimensional data, users can manage the laboratory more intelligently and efficiently.
As one of the first enterprises to enter the laboratory of Microsoft artificial intelligence and Internet of Things, Boonray technology brought the drone river patrol solution in this exhibition. In the past, in the process of water pollution treatment, many teams were faced with many difficulties of traditional manual operation, such as scattered distribution of rivers, huge energetic consumption of personnel, low efficiency of inspection and difficulties in sewage outlet inspection. The drone river patrol inspection solution realizes automatic river cruise, data acquisition and analysis. With the help of IOT Hub, Event Hub, Cosmos DB and other services on Microsoft's intelligent cloud, the system can realize the remote management and control of drone, and can also identify and analyze the real-time images taken by drone. If garbage is found in the river, an automatic collection ship can be dispatched for recycling. The scheme realizes non-contact and high-efficiency River patrol inspection, reduces investment of manpower in the treatment process and enhances the accuracy and safety of the inspection process. Finally, the automation, information and visualization of the whole process of water quality monitoring are achieved, which is convenient for the follow-up targeted water quality restoration and long-term supervision.

Microsoft Translator aims to eliminate the language barrier of face-to-face communication and help users around the world communicate and collaborate efficiently. At present, Microsoft translator can easily realize the real-time translation of more than 60 languages and more than 10 kinds of voice. Microsoft translator API can also be integrated into any website or application, any device and any operating system, so as to help thousands of enterprises around the world improve the efficiency of application and workflow, reduce costs, and communicate with customers more effectively. The presentation translator plug-in is designed for PowerPoint. It can display the translated subtitles in different languages on different clients in real time during the slide playing, and can easily save the real-time subtitles and translation results completely.
Microsoft ice, which has been upgraded to the seventh generation, is one of the Global artificial intelligence systems. It has covered 660 million online users, 450 million third-party intelligent devices and 900 million viewers in many countries. With the greatly expanded interactive scenarios, the average number conversation rounds per session (CPS) between Microsoft ice and users remains at 23. The Avatar Framework recently released by Microsoft ice for partners is the same as The Microsoft ice Framework, which can easily build AI assistants, social dialogue robots, AI content creation and IP character with full emotional computing power. As a branch of the framework, the exhibition area displays a number of achievements of ice in AI creation in various forms, including paintings of different styles, audio books designed for children, songs that restore human middle energizer and voice conversion. At present, Microsoft has mastered the core technology of text, sound and visual creation in the world, and released the actual online products. Azure Kinect DK, the Smart terminals are equipped with a number of industry-leading artificial intelligence sensors which can sense the world. Advanced artificial intelligence technology and various sensors are integrated into one device, including 3D spatial recognition, voice recognition, HD cameras and so on. The 1-megapixel TOF camera can capture information about the surrounding environment. The 12 megapixel HD camera provides color image data stream matching with depth data, 3D electronic accelerometer and 3D IMU giving the sensor directional and spatial tracking capabilities, external sync pins to easily synchronize sensor streams from multiple Kinect devices. Azure Sphere is an end-to-end high security solution for IoT devices, aimed to improve the safety of the IoT industry standards. Through the cooperation of certified microcontroller, operating system and security service, it provides perfect security protection for household, medical and industrial edge equipment: The first element of the solution is a new security MCU, provided by Microsoft's semiconductor partners; The second element is an operating system for IoT devices that combines the essence of Microsoft and OSS technologies to become a trusted platform with IoT experience; The third element is cloud services. K12 artificial intelligence visual programming platform is specially designed for teenagers' programming education. K12 is based on the online graphical programming platform, combined with the characteristics of Microsoft artificial intelligence technology, integrated computational thinking and practice and fit the use of scenario teaching to write teaching courses, so as to realize low threshold visual programming teaching and hands-on experiment. K12 artificial intelligence visual programming platform course is a systematic teaching program covering all ages of primary and secondary schools, which helps to better understand artificial intelligence and realize innovative programming through immersive learning experience. The artificial intelligence technology will be added into the course, including: voice, language, vision, search, etc., from the simple to the deep, combining theory with practice, so that students can master and apply the artificial intelligence programming platform from zero-base.
STEAM is a course based on interdisciplinary education concept in Microsoft Innovation School. Students will be enlightened by artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of Things and other technologies during the experience. The course is committed to cultivating students' interests or hobbies and comprehensive qualities for all round development in all fields, breaking the restrictions between subjects from teaching, inspecting interaction and practice in task setting, so as to help students acquire more comprehensive ability from the initial stage of ability training.
