The World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2019 (WAIC 2019) was held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center on 29th August 2019 till 31th August 2019. Boonray Technology has showcased the latest AIoT (Artificial Intelligent and Internet of Things) estate system technology in the conference. The smart estate system and river patrol system showcased in the conference are integrated with multiple robots by using universal robot technologies. With the power of 5G and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies, the connected collaboration of robots is established.

Boonray Technology set up two exhibition booths during the conference. One was located at Zhangjiang incorporated exhibition area, and the other was at Microsoft exhibition area. Boonray Technology has showcased the AIoT campus command system which is deployed in Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligent Island at Zhangjiang area's AI zone. The system can establish the connectivity and collaboration among security devices such as retrofitted drones, security robots, and camera through the online integration in Boonray Cloud. It can smart analyse and explore values of the collected data, as well as to maximize the efficiency of the management and operation of a particular area.

      On the other hand, Boonray Technology demonstrated the smart river patrol scenario at the Microsoft exhibition area. The patrol system based on AIoT technologies is the result of the collaboration between Boonray Technology and Microsoft lab. It combines IoT, image recognition, and drone technologies to achieve fully autonomous river patrol operations and riverside pollution inspection using an autonomous boat. Boonray Technology's product manager, Ms. Sophie Mao, shared the experience and result of cooperation with Microsoft lab during the exhibition.

     Other than products demonstrations, Boonray Technology has proudly achieved the third place in the Shanghai 5G application innovation contest with the establishment of the smart area at Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Island. “The company always focuses on the practical application of robot technologies”, stated by Boonray Technology. So far, the company products are providing services for customers at zone management, mining operation, solar planes inspection fields.
